Retire SMART Served as Presenting Sponsor of Osborne Family Legacy Golf Tournament

OMAHA, NE, UNITED STATES, August 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Retire SMART served as the presenting sponsor of the Fourth Annual Osborne Family Legacy Golf Tournament, held June 11, 2026, at Iron Horse Golf Club in Ashland, Nebraska. The tournament supported TeamMates Mentoring, the organization co-founded by Tom and Nancy Osborne in 1991.

The event included 18 holes of golf with carts, hole-in-one and other course contests, a box lunch, a social hour with heavy hors d’oeuvres, a prize presentation, a silent auction, and appearances by Coach Osborne and other guests. Retire SMART joined gold-level sponsors AKRS, the Jeff Schumacher Family, TSL, and Nebraska Athletics in supporting the annual event.

Retire SMART’s role as presenting sponsor also led to continued involvement with TeamMates Mentoring after the tournament. Several Retire SMART employees became mentors through the organization’s sponsorship and connection to the program. Their participation extended the company’s involvement from event sponsorship to individual mentorship.

The sponsorship also introduced participating employees directly to TeamMates Mentoring’s work. For those who later became mentors, the tournament created a pathway from corporate sponsorship to personal participation in the program, adding a longer-term connection beyond the one-day event.

TeamMates Mentoring has matched more than 51,000 mentees with caring adults since the program was founded in 1991. The Osborne Family Legacy Annual Golf Tournament is one of the organization’s fundraising and sponsorship events supporting its mentoring work.

Neither Tom Osbourne, DeMoine Adams, nor TeamMates are clients of Retire SMART and were compensated for this sponsorship endorsement as such term is defined under SEC Rule 206(4)-1, due to the following arrangement: Effective as of March 3, 2025, Retire SMART, LLC, entered into an agreement with the TeamMates Mentoring, a 501(c)(3) organization, wherein Retire SMART is the recipient of certain advertising sponsorship rights, including use of the designation “Presenting Sponsor of the Osborne Family Legacy Golf Tournament,” which benefits the TeamMates Mentoring organization founded by Tom Osbourne. In connection therewith Retire SMART will also receive other benefits, including: two complimentary foursomes for the tournament; prime location at the shotgun start; up to 30 tickets for the post-golf event; use of the Retire SMART logo on all TeamMates.org printed materials, throughout the golf course and clubhouse, on the invitation and sponsorship form, in social media, and in the TeamMates annual report; photo of staff/golfers with TeamMates staff/celebrities prior to the start of the tournament; gifts for up to 3 staff members and 8 golfers; option to provide handouts/cards/gifts inside 130 golfer bags; and an invitation to the TeamMates fall gala. As consideration for this arrangement and the aforementioned benefits, Retire SMART is obligated to pay TeamMates, per the terms of such arrangement, a fee of $15,000 in 2025, $17,500 in 2026, and $20,000 in 2027.
