Precise Flight Announces FAA and EASA STC Approval for Pulselite® System Installation on the Embraer E175
BEND, OR, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Precise Flight, Inc., a Signia Aerospace company, announced today that it received Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for installation of its Pulselite® system on the Embraer E175.
The Pulselite system is a patented, FAA-certified lightweight electrical system modification that alternately pulses an aircraft's existing exterior lights, increasing visibility and highlighting directional movement for both wildlife and people. Proven to significantly reduce bird strikes, the Pulselite system also helps lower the risk of midair and ground collisions, as well as near-miss incidents, supporting safer operations.
“This STC expands the availability of our Pulselite system to the growing fleet of E175 aircraft in service today,” said Bill Hoback, Vice President and General Manager of Precise Flight. “We continue to focus on expanding our approvals to support operators with proven safety-enhancing technologies.”
“With continued growth in air traffic and increasing bird strike events, visibility technologies like the Pulselite system play an important role in operational safety,” Hoback added.
With approvals covering hundreds of aircraft models and certifications from aviation authorities worldwide, the Pulselite system continues to expand across a broad range of fixed-wing and rotorcraft platforms.
